Dear Dragon Families,
We made it! It is amazing to think that we are about to start the final week of the 23/24 school year. Special Shout Out to our amazing PTA who hosted an amazing dance for our 8th graders on Friday night. Our kids had a blast.
As we wrap up this remarkable school year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your unwavering support and active involvement have played a pivotal role in our collective success. Together, we have navigated challenges, celebrated achievements, and created a nurturing environment for our students to thrive.
Thank you for your trust, cooperation, and dedication. Wishing you a restful and joyful summer break. See below for some important dates including some in August!

COMING SOON
- August 1 – 7th and 8th Grade Athletic Information Night for all students who plan to play sports at DDMMS next year! 6:00pm – DDMMS Auditorium.
- August 20 – Dragon Camp for Rising 6th Graders – A postcard will be sent to students with information.
- August 27 – First day of school.

ATTENTION ALL RISING 7th GRADERS – All rising 7th graders need updated vaccinations. They are DUE before they come back on August 21st. Please make sure you get a copy of the shots and bring them to school. Here is the LIST and place to get the vaccinations. Every year we have students that cannot come to school because they do not have their shots and every doctor is booked because all 7th grade NC students need these shots.
