Field Day

Due to a rainy forecast, Field Day has been rescheduled to May 13th.  Students in grades 3-5 will participate from 9-11 am and K-2 will participate from 12:15-2:15 pm. The event will be held at Fletcher Park.

Spring Pictures

Spring picture packets are being sent home today. The packet contains information about cost and a small envelope for payment. Any pictures that you do not wish to purchase are sent back to school in the large envelope. Please do not keep pictures without sending in payment. Payment and/or pictures are due May 13th.

Grades 3-5 Remediation and Readministration

Partnership Magnet Elementary is committed to providing all students with an excellent education. At the end of the school year, grades 3-5 children will participate in the regular administration of North Carolina End-of-Grade (EOG) tests. Students who score Level 3 or higher on these assessments are considered proficient. Students who do not score a Level 3 or higher on the regular administration and have passed the subject have the option to participate in a Remediation and Readministration opportunity in the summer.

Should your child meet the criteria for the Remediation and Readministration opportunity and you choose for your child to participate, a readministration opportunity will be provided to eligible students on June 1st and/or 2nd. Transportation will be provided, and breakfast and lunch will be available.

At this time, we are providing families with information about this opportunity. After students complete their EOGs, we will determine which children are eligible and those families will receive an invitation for the summer program.

Please answer the questions on this form as soon as possible to help us determine how many students might be interested in the summer program should they qualify.

Staff Appreciation Week

We will be celebrating Staff Appreciation Week at Partnership from May 9-13th. In order to celebrate our awesome staff, all 5-day events have been planned, including sweet treats, covering recess and lunch duty, lunch for the staff, a potluck, and notes from students. Please help show your appreciation for all that the staff does to support our students.

Volunteer Opportunity: Proctors Needed for End of Grade (EOG) Testing

We need your help to ensure that the EOG test runs smoothly. Proctors are needed on May 17, 18, 19 from 8:45-11:15. A proctor's job is to help maintain test security.  Please volunteer for this important job. Contact Mary Hunter Martin at mmartin@wcpss.net if you can help.
