Nov 16-20: Cohort A & VA: PE; Cohort B: Fitness; Cohort C: Health

Cohort 1A: WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!! This week we welcome you back to school for face-to-face teaching again! We will always be in PE when you are in the building, so come to school dressed for activity since we will not be using the locker rooms. Also, be prepared to be outside. We are going to be learning footgolf (soccer golf) this week!
Cohort 2B: This week you are in fitness learning focusing on the "Types" part of the FITT principle learned during the last fitness rotation. You will complete a quizizz that focuses on 6 different types of workouts (yoga, plyometrics, HIIT, kickboxing, step aerobics, and circuit training). You will also pick a workout and film in Flipgrid.
Cohort 3C: This week you are in health and focusing on gratitude. You will learn about the health benefits that occur when you practice gratitude. You will complete a quizizz on gratitude as well as create a gratitude journal. Options for your journal are in your activity center.
Virtual Academy: This week in PE we are focusing on footgolf (soccer golf)! You will learn the rules of footgolf, as well as common footgolf terms. You will get to create your own footgolf course as well!! You can play footgolf indoors or outdoors, up to you! If you don't have a soccer ball, no worries! Any ball you are able to kick will work for this game. If you are indoors, I recommend using a rolled up pair of socks or a smaller ball that you can safely use in the house. Have fun playing!
