Monday Memo – Good evening Garner Nation; this is Principal Carter Hillman with a Monday Memo:
- All information provided in this Memo is posted on the GMHS website under the “Principal’s Message.”
- Students and Parent: Student IDs will be made prior to first period in the main lobby near the cafeteria. All students who do not have a GMHS ID need to have one made. The cost is $5.00; please bring the exact amount.
- Juniors and Seniors: Jostens will be on campus tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21st during lunches to take class ring orders for Juniors (the minimum deposit required is $75.00) and to take senior orders for cap, tassel, gowns and graduation announcements, and any other senior products (the minimum deposit is $60.00). You can also place your order online at Jostens.com.
- Attention Parents: Tomorrow evening, September 21st, from 5:50 to 8:00 PM, GMHS will host a virtual Open House event. You will be able to run through your student’s A/B day schedule, with 15 minutes allotted to each class. At 5:50 PM you will be provided the opportunity to view the Principal’s message for the evening. A-day classes will be as follows: 1A at 6:00; 2A at 6:15; 3A at 6:30; and 4A at 6:45. B-day classes will be as follows: 1B at 7:00; 2B at 7:15; 3B at 7:30; and 4B at 7:45. All Google meet information will be provided through teachers' learning platforms. Please have your student check this information for you so you are prepared for tomorrow evening.
- Students: Catch the “early bird special.” By a yearbook for $55.00 at yearbookforever.com. Also, senior parents, yearbook senior ads are now for sale. Go to yearbookforever.com to purchase and create your ad for your senior.
- Seniors are encouraged to visit the scholarship page on the GMHS website. From the GMHS homepage, click the “Senior Class of 2022” information page. Scholarships are updated on a regular basis. Reminders are sent out, via the Student Services Twitter feed. Please contact GMHS Student Services for more information.
