Dear Reedy Creek Magnet Middle School Families,

It has been so good to see students excited about visiting our Fall Book Fair! Students can make purchases from the book fair until Tuesday, Nov. 9th. Also, a special shout out to Mrs. Thrash, our ELA teachers, and our parent volunteers who have helped to make this experience a success!

Here are a few important reminders:

Report cards go home today, Friday, Nov. 5th - please review these with your students. We encourage you to establish daily routines for completing assignments at home and monitor PowerSchool regularly.

The next unit in our Second Step social-emotional learning (SEL) program will focus on bullying and harassment. Due to the sensitive nature of this topic, a letter for parents is included in today's grade-level newsletters. Also, next week is a three-day week for students and staff - Thursday, Nov. 11th is Veterans Day and Friday, Nov. 12th is a Day of Reflection.

As you arrive on campus, you'll notice some landscaping changes. The WCPSS Grounds Crew is in the process of revitalizing our campus. Please bear with us - we hope to have the work completed by the Spring.

Lastly, students must come to school with a fully charged Chromebook. We've worked extremely hard to ensure every student has a school-issued device - when Chromebooks are not functional, students miss out on valuable, intentional learning opportunities.

Thank you for doing your part to support our Eagle community.
