Panther Newsletter 11/1/10

Panther families,

We want to start by sending out a huge THANK YOU to all that donated to our annual food drive.  With your help, we were able to donate 742 food items to assist families across Wake County.  Please find important updates and reminders regarding our school community for next week and beyond.

  • JDE Angel Tree--Once again JDE will sponsor an Angel Tree to assist families during the holiday season.  Our Angel Tree will be set up in the main office. If you would like to help our families, you can sign out an "Angel" which lists an item for a member of our school community.  All wrapped gifts are due back by December 6th.
  • Marco's Pizza Box Night--This JDE Family Night engages our students' creative talents and treats our parents to a night without cooking.  Marco's Pizza will provide our students with empty pizza boxes that they will decorate at JDE.  On your Track's assigned night, parents can then order a pizza in their child's personalized box!  Marco's rewards our students by giving 20% back to JDE for on-line orders or 15% back for all phone, delivery, and carry-out orders.
