Open House:

We will have our Open House on Thursday August 25 for all tracks.  We will begin the evening in the cafeteria with a PTA General Meeting and a message from the principal both highlighting focus areas for this year.  This general session will be followed by 2 opportunities to attend classroom informational sessions. The first one will be from 6:50-7:10 and the second session will be 7:15-7:35. The book fair will also be open from 6:00 – 7:45.  If you are unable to attend Open House all teachers will have their presentation available on their website.

 

Picture Day:

A school picture is a snapshot in time; a familiar smile that brings warmth, happiness, and togetherness to your families' homes. Let's capture those smiles together for Picture Day at Heritage Elementary School. Thursday September 1 is PICTURE DAY for all students.  Please visit our website for ordering details.  There are 12 different packages to choose from starting at just $10.00 and ranging up to $43.00 OR you can customize your package order.  Please consider ordering pictures to capture your child this year!

 

Parents Welcome:

With COVID restrictions being lifted there are several changes to make parents aware of as we welcome you back in the building:

• If you are bringing your student after 8:25 a.m. or checking them out early you will ring the bell at which time we will unlock the door for you to enter the office to sign your child in/out.
• Parents are once again allowed to eat lunch with your child.  Parents and student may sit at the back table of the cafeteria to ensure there are seats at their regularly assigned table for their classmates.
• If you wish to participate in class/school activities, you must register to be a WCPSS volunteer.  You may do this at Open House on August 25^th or you may come to the Media Center on Friday mornings between 7:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.

We will be having a PTA meeting at 6:15 on August 25th right before Open House. Please join us.

The last day to order spirit wear is August 15th. If you haven’t ordered yet, be sure to do so. If you are able, please consider donating towards “Heritage Helps” to make Spirit wear accessible to all of our students. https://heritagees.memberhub.com/store

The Book Fair is just around the corner! It will run August 15th-25th. We have extended the hours for the Book Fair family night on the 25th. You can come in and shop as a family anytime from 5:00-7:30.

We will be having a spirit day at Mod Pizza on August 16th. Use fundraising code MODF9094 when ordering and 20% will go back to our school. 

Track 4 room parents, thank you so much for volunteering. We will have a room parent information meeting at 6:00pm on August 18th.
