Health Screening Processes:

WCPSS, in collaboration with Health Services, has determined that student screenings are no longer required prior to arriving on campus, HOWEVER, at HES we will continue to screen all students each morning as they access our campus via carpool or bus.  We know that many families have recently made decisions for students to return to campus based on the knowledge of daily health screenings and maintaining social distancing in classrooms and common areas as feasible.  We will continue to implement the procedures we have been utilizing all year to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Planning of 2021 – 2022:

This week the WCPSS BOE approved the recommendation to continue offering a virtual academy option for students in the 2021-2022 school year.  WCPSS will be sending additional information to all families today with application window dates and an Open House.  Application window will be soon as these #s are needed in order to plan the best learning environment for all students.  Once we have the number of students attending Virtual Academy next year we will be able to begin to assign tracks. We understand this is very late and wish we were able to know earlier but there are so many factors that play into this decision.

Attention: HES Artists, Writers, & Photographers:
