HES Weekly Announcements April 8-12
On Tuesday, April 2, 2019, the WCPSS School Board approved an interim principal for HES. Mr. Charles Langley, retired WCPSS, will be the interim principal from May 1-June 30. He is excited to serve the AWESOME Heritage community!
Reminder: When picking up your child, please be sure that you have photo ID. Also, if someone other than you is picking up your child, they need to be on the locater card and have their ID as well. If the individual is not on the locater card, we will contact the parent. I know this may seem cumbersome but we want to be vigilant when it comes to the safety of our children. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
We would like to make you aware of upcoming opportunities to provide support for parents across the district on Mental Wellness and Social Media. There are currently two K-12 events scheduled to offer support and resources focused on these topics. This is a collaborative effort between Counseling and Student Services and Technology Services.
The events currently scheduled are:
The presenters are Crystal Reardon, Director of Counseling and Student Services, and Allison Reid from Technology Services. The discussion will be focused on the impact of mental wellness on the use of technology.
