Principal Message Week of December 12, 2021

Davis Drive Elementary families,

It is hard to believe that we have one more week of 2021 in school! We have an exciting week planned to celebrate Ms. Cutler. Details are below on the designated celebration day details. Please remember that school starts at 7:45am and students need to be in their classroom at that time. I hope you have a relaxing break with your family, doing what brings you all joy. There will not be another Principal message until January 2, 2022.

From the office -

If your child forgets their lunch box or water bottle and you would like to drop it off at school, we are putting in place a process to minimize interruption of classroom instruction.  If you are dropping off hot lunches, please look into purchasing a thermos or container that will keep the meal warm for your child and that they can bring to school in a lunch box or in their backpack at the beginning of the day. Our school does offer free lunch to all students this school year.

If dropping off lunch boxes or water bottles - please label them with one of the labels on the cart and leave them on the cart by the front door. Please do not ring the doorbell. The office will check the cart at 8 am, 9 am and 10 am.

If your child is sick in the morning before school or did not feel well during the night, do not send them to school.  Children do not learn when they are not feeling well and we are still following COVID guidelines Student Health / Returning To School After Diagnosis, Exposure, or Illness
