Davis Drive Elementary February 2 Principal's Message

Hello Davis Drive Elementary School families.  This is the weekly message for the week of February 2, 2020.

Some of our families already have access to the Home Base / Parent Portal for those who do not have access, students brought home letters this past Friday regarding Home Base/Parent Portal.  If you need access, please read the letter carefully and either register your parent access or come to the school to fill out the proper form to obtain parent access information. We are asking parents to complete this as soon as possible.  We plan to use the portal next school year to notify families of teacher assignments and we will not have class lists displayed at the front of the school. Once registered, you will find the Parent Portal useful through high school.

Our Lost and Found is getting crowded with lost items and we will need to donate unclaimed items soon.  Please see the video of the lost and found at the link  Here  If you view an item that belongs to yoru child, plese have your chid pick up the item from the Lost and Found or from the office

Congratulations to Tami Chaize, the Davis Drive Elementary School Instructional Assistant of the Year.  Her portfolio has been viewed by our district selection committee and she is now a finalist.

Last year we participated in the Kids Heart Challenge and weill will participate again this school year.  Las year we did such a great job raising money to help save lives, we hope you’ll join us again this year.
