Track Change Request Form

Our Track Change Request period for current Carpenter families for the 2024-2025 school year is open until March 22, 2024.   Please know that we cannot guarantee any track changes as they are dependent on space availability on each track and grade level.  We also are working with WCPSS Student Assignment to better serve our feeder middle schools. Families will receive a decision notification by May 10th.  Please click here to access the Track Change Request Form.

Single Subject Acceleration

Students meeting qualifying criteria in grades K-7 can take advanced academic content in mathematics or English Language Arts through Single Subject Acceleration (SSA). This ensures opportunities for appropriate levels of academic challenge. Only students who are currently enrolled and attending a WCPSS school during the open nomination and testing window are eligible to be considered for SSA. Testing Nomination Windows: Tracks 1 and 3: Feb. 21- March 5; Track 4: March 11- March 22; Track 2: April 1- April 12.  See Carpenter’s Website or email for more details.
