Carpenter Families,

Lost and Found

With the cooler temperatures, our Lost and Found has grown! There are many jackets, sweatshirts, hats, and water bottles without an owner.  If your child is missing anything, please have them check the lost and found this week.  Our lost and found is located on the stage in the gym.

Book Fair

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the book fair or one of the events associated with the book fair.  Also, a huge thank you to the PTA for all of their hard work in setting up the book fair and to any and all volunteers throughout the two weeks.  We so appreciate you volunteering your time to make it a great experience for the students! They absolutely loved it!

Late Buses and Talking Points

Starting tomorrow, if a bus has left 10 minutes or more later than its normally scheduled time to leave our school, we will send home a Talking Point message to all bus riders on that route.  If you have a bus rider and have not signed up for Talking Points, now would be a good time to do so.

Winter Spirit Week- see teacher or Carpenter’s webpage for more details.

2024-2025 School Assignment Slips

By Thursday of this week, students should bring home a yellow sheet of paper that states their school assignment for the next school year.

PTA News:

Thank you to all the families that came out to Urban Air for our spirit night.  You helped raise $220 for the PTA!

We are getting new spiritwear ready for the spring and would love input on your preferred material for t-shirts!  Please visit our PTA Facebook page here to take our quick poll.

Thank you to all who contributed to our Holiday Assistance Gift Card Drive!  We raised $2,062 in donations to distribute gift cards to help fellow Carpenter families this holiday season.

Many thanks to all who shopped at our Book Fair!  We could not have done it without Jennifer Burge and Ms. Alston who both worked tirelessly for weeks to make it happen.  Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help as well!!
