I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the extra hour of sleep! Please remember that this week we don’t have school on Tuesday (Election Day) or on Friday (Veterans’ Day Observed)

Morning Arrival:

I have noticed a difference in students arriving to school earlier this week- thank you! Let’s keep making sure that students have arrived so they can be in their classrooms learning at 9:15.  If students arrive at 9:15 or after, parents must come into the office and sign students in.

Monday, 11/13: Hat’s off to Kindness- Wear a hat today!

Tuesday, 11/14: Don’t Hide from Kindness- Wear Camo or Camo colors today! (brown or green)

Wednesday, 11/15: Dreaming of Kindness- Wear your pajamas today!

Thursday, 11/16: Peace, Love, and Kindness- Wear tie-dye or bright colors!

Friday, 11/17: Team Up for Kindness- Wear your Sports gear or Carpenter shirt!

PTA News:

Join us Tuesday, November 14th for our first General Membership Meeting of the school year.  We will meet virtually at 6pm.  Ms. Collins will be joining us for a quick "Meet the Principal."  We'll be covering what we've been up to thus far this year, upcoming events and reviewing our budget.

Coming home to you soon will be your child's custom catalog for our Square 1 Art fundraiser.  Keepsakes are on sale now -- just in time for the holidays!  Thank you to our wonderful art teacher Mr. Hann for having his classes create special pieces of art for this.  Order now at https://shop.square1art.com/Shop/artwork/Search and enter state, school name and your student's last name.  Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order!  Order by: 11/27/2023.

Our Art Reflections program received an exceptional response this year from our Chameleon community, with 50 submissions.  Thank you to all our participants for making this year such a success!  The first two winners in each category have advanced to the county-level competition.  Click here to view the winning submissions.
