Spring Break Health Reminders
Coming back from Spring Break, we want to remain vigilant in our collective effort to keep Pleasant Grove safe for all students and staff members. We must continue doing all we can to limit everyone’s risk of exposure to COVID-19 and remain vigilant in practicing the 3 Ws:

  • Wear a face covering.
  • Wait apart to maintain social distancing.
  • Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.

International Travel:  If you are traveling internationally over Spring Break, please get tested and stay home upon your return. Get tested 3-5 days after your trip and stay home and self-quarantine for a full 7 days after travel, even if your test is negative. If you don’t get tested, stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel.

  • If you test negative, stay home and self-quarantine for the full seven days.
  • If you do not receive your COVID-19 tests results within those seven days, stay home until you receive your negative test results
  • If your test is positive, do not come to work/school for 14 days from your positive test.
  • If you choose not to get tested, stay home and self-quarantine for ten days after international travel.

Required Forms:  If you have requested for your child to return to school for in-person learning, you will need to complete a Request for Bus Transportation online with WCPSS.  If your child will be a carpool rider, then you will need to contact the school for a carpool tag.  Additionally, you must complete both of these forms:

Fourth Quarter Material Distribution:  All K-5 Virtual Academy Families will be able to pick up Instructional Materials for their child on Wednesday, April 14, 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM.  Students who attend school in-person do not need to participate because they will receive materials directly from their classroom teacher.

End of Grade Testing:  As part of state and federal legislation, students in grades 3-8 are administered the End of Grade (EOG) tests at the end of the school year. The state is requiring these tests to be administered in person.  In order for Pleasant Grove to plan appropriately, we need to know how many Virtual Academy students will attend during test days to take their tests.  Please use this link, http://bit.ly/2021pgeseog , to respond.  If you have more than one Virtual Academy student in grades 3-8, please complete this form separately for each student.

Remote Learning Days:  Mark your calendars.  Currently, WCPSS still has the following days designated as Remote Learning Days for all students (In-person and Virtual Academy).

  • April 14
  • April 28
  • May 5
  • May 26
