Important Dates
June 9-10: 8th graders MUST turn in their Chromebook and charger
June 11: Field Day (bring extra water)
June 13: 8th Grade Ceremony, 8:30 AM
June 13: Last Day of School for All Students
June 16-17: Remediation/Retesting (Invitation Only)
EOG Remediation and Retest Sessions
The readministration and remediation session for those students who qualify will be held on June 16th and 17th. Only the students who qualify and choose to participate will be invited to attend. Letters of invitation will be sent home with students. Please complete the Bitly form to indicate transportation. The schedule is as follows:
- June 16 - Reading Grade 6 and 7, Math Grade 8, Math 1
- June 17 - Math Grade 6 and 7, Reading Grade 8
- There are no retest sessions for Science 8 this year.
Lost & Found Items
Student Action Needed:
Take a moment and go through the Lost & Found items located in the cafeteria.
Anything remaining on June 13 will be donated.

Limited Quantity of Yearbooks
There is a limited quantity of yearbooks left to purchase! If you want to guarantee a yearbook for your child visit www.jostens.com and purchase it today before they sell out! Take a moment to read the messages from Ms. Michael on Talking Points.
Summer Food Assistance Program
This U.S. Department of Agriculture program provides a debit card worth $120 per eligible child that can be used to buy nutritious food during the summer months when schools are out. Most eligible students will be automatically enrolled in the program, but some will need to apply. Visit ncdhhs.gov/sunbucks to determine if you need to apply.
Seeking Sports Parents for 25-26 Athletic Booster
If you have a 7th grader returning to Reedy Creek athletics teams next year, or have a 6th grader enthusiastic about participating, please consider joining our Athletics Boosters now to help us transition. Boosters is now part of PTA, but we need dedicated sports parents to maintain concessions sales, team t-shirt orders, and team breakfasts and celebrations.
