RCMMS PTA News
- The PTA will host another informal Welcome Meeting at 7 p.m. on June 1, via Zoom, for new families and new volunteers. We are still seeking chairs or co-chairs for Athletics, Book Fair, Cultural Arts, Campus Clean-Up, and Reflections (fine arts contest), as well as 6th Grade and 8th Grade VPs. - Our PTA is helping ELA teachers recognize students who have participated in this year's 40 Book Challenge. The PTA will provide pizza and ice cream. We are asking for donations of assorted FUN SIZE bagged candy. Please sign up for an assortment, drop it off in the front office by 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 9, and mark the bags for PTA or Book Challenge.

Limited Quantity of Yearbooks
Yearbooks were distributed on Friday, May 30. There is a limited quantity of yearbooks left to purchase! If you want to guarantee a yearbook for your child visit www.jostens.com and purchase today before they sell out!
Summer Food Assistance Program
This U.S. Department of Agriculture program provides a debit card worth $120 per eligible child that can be used to buy nutritious food during the summer months when schools are out. Most eligible students will be automatically enrolled in the program, but some will need to apply. Visit ncdhhs.gov/sunbucks to determine if you need to apply.
Seeking Sports Parents for 25-26 Athletic Booster
If you have a 7th grader returning to Reedy Creek athletics teams next year, or have a 6th grader enthusiastic about participating, please consider joining our Athletics Boosters now to help us transition. Boosters is now part of PTA, but we need dedicated sports parents to maintain concessions sales, team t-shirt orders, and team breakfasts and celebrations.
