RCMMS PTA News
The PTA is hosting informal Welcome Meetings at 7 p.m. on May 28 and June 1, via Zoom, for new families and new volunteers interested in getting involved. This is a great time to ask questions if you are interested in a committee or role for next year.
- We are seeking new chairs or co-chairs for:
- Athletics,
- Book Fair,
- Cultural Arts,
- Campus Clean-Up, and
- Reflections (fine arts contest), as well as
- 6th Grade and 8th Grade VPs.

Yearbook Distribution
Yearbook distribution will be during lunch on Friday, May 30. Students will receive a “ticket” from their 2nd period teacher next week if they have purchased a yearbook and will use this for pickup during their lunch period.
We still have some yearbooks left for purchase! If you want to guarantee a yearbook for your child and wish for them to be able to pick it up next Friday, visit www.jostens.com and purchase today before they sell out!
Summer Food Assistance Program
This U.S. Department of Agriculture program provides a debit card worth $120 per eligible child that can be used to buy nutritious food during the summer months when schools are out. Most eligible students will be automatically enrolled in the program, but some will need to apply. Visit ncdhhs.gov/sunbucks to determine if you need to apply.
Seeking Sports Parents for 25-26 Athletic Booster
If you have a 7th grader returning to Reedy Creek athletics teams next year, or have a 6th grader enthusiastic about participating, please consider joining our Athletics Boosters now to help us transition. Boosters is now part of PTA, but we need dedicated sports parents to maintain concessions sales, team t-shirt orders, and team breakfasts and celebrations.
