Dear Wolfpack,

Congratulations to everyone who made our fall teams for sports!  I can’t wait to see you shine this season and I was so impressed with the amount of students who tried out.  Love the effort!  Great job students at the spirit assembly on Friday as well. Right now our silver team is in the lead for our spirit award. Don't forget students, every Friday we wear our Wakefield attire or colors to show some school pride!  

Picture Taking - is Tuesday.  All students will take their picture that day and you should have received your form for ordering from your student.  If you want to order online please go to www.strawbridge.net and use the online code FM424893.  

This week, starting Tuesday, students will be taking their Fastbridge reading assessment during Wolftime.  This brief assessment will be done only during Wolftime and throughout the week.  The information gained will help teachers understand the foundational skills in literacy of our students to provide more differentiated support.  

Meet the Teacher Night is Wednesday and I have included a link to the flyer for families.  Remember that 6:00-6:25 is an open time for families to visit electives and 6:30 all families will be in their child’s homeroom class.  I hope that everyone can make it and I look forward to seeing you then.  

Friday is the start of celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and I hope students will join in the celebration as we learn about the cultural significance to our country.
