Cold and Flu Season

Cold and flu season is upon us and stomach bugs may be going around. Please note if your child is sick with a fever we ask you to please keep them home until they are fever free for 24 hours without medication to reduce the fever. If they are sick throwing up please keep them home until they are well. This will reduce the spread of illness.

If your child calls you and or texts you while in school stating that they are sick, please advise them to tell their teacher and go to the front office. The office will be able to check for fevers and access what may be going on. This helps prevent the amount of time others are exposed. If your child has a fever while at school, they must be picked up from school and can not return until they are fever free (without medication) for 24 hours. We appreciate your assistance in helping us keep the school healthy.

Lost and Found

As the weather becomes a bit colder, we are seeing a number of jackets and coats left in our lost and found. Please encourage your child to stop by to see if their items are there. We also have a number of lunch boxes and water bottles there as well. Our lost and found is located in our gym entry hallway.

Winter Fine Arts Performances

On Tuesday, December 3, our fine arts department will host an Orchestra winter concert at 7:00pm. On Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13, our dance department will host a winter dance showcase at 7:00pm. These are going to be GREAT shows. Please be sure to come out and support our fine arts!

Inclement Weather Updates

Please be sure that you are subscribed to all communication channels and outlets so you are able to receive up to date information about inclement weather. School delays and closures will be posted on our website and placed on both twitter sites (school and principal). WCPSS will also send a voicemail out to all families as well.
