Hello families of 8th-grade HMS students,

We wanted to make sure all families are consistently getting the same message about the 8th-grade EOY celebration.  The PTA has a fun day planned to help celebrate our 8th-graders. Please see details on the flyer. If you have any questions, reach out to your child's homeroom teacher.

The Celebration Day will begin with a ceremony in the auditorium at 11:00 a.m.  There will be THREE different days to celebrate (one for each track) so please pay close attention to the dates of your sign up.

• Track 1: Wednesday, May 28th
• Track 3: Thursday, June 26th (yes, this is correct, track 3 is on the last day of school, not track 4)
• Track 4: Wednesday, June 25th

After the ceremony (around 12:30) the students will be served lunch provided by the PTA (no charge to the student).  If your child has special dietary needs or would like to DECLINE the PTA provided lunch on that day because he or she will leave school early, fill out the form.  

After lunch, they will move into a Field Day, where some help is needed as well.  THIS EVENT CAN ONLY BE AS GOOD AS THE PARENTS HELP MAKE IT. PLEASE BE GENEROUS WITH YOUR TIME AND DONATIONS SO THESE STUDENTS CAN FEEL CELEBRATED!  Please consider the volunteer opportunities here.
