Hello Patriot Families!
It’s been another busy week. Thank you to ALL who supported Bullying Prevention by wearing blue this past Monday. We are continuing to emphasize Bullying Prevention throughout this month. Here are this week’s reminders:
Community Campus Clean Up: We’re getting closer to our Campus Clean Up. This event is in collaboration with our PTA Beautification Committee. Won’t you join us? Please sign up at the bottom of this flyer if you can participate on October 23. Campus Clean Up Flyer Trouble signing up? Click here.
Extended Learning/Camp WCPSS Update: As announced last week by WCPSS, the Extended Summer Learning programs will resume Monday, Oct. 25. This means our Track 3 will operate the program as scheduled beginning Oct. 25. Track 2 programs would resume on November 15, and Track 1 programs would resume on December 6. The Extended Summer Learning programs for the missed October track out for Track 4 students will be pushed to March/April track out. The Track 4 Extended Summer Learning Program scheduled for January will proceed as scheduled at HMS.
Reproductive Health Units: Please see the grade specific information regarding upcoming Healthful Living units.
- October 21 - VA Drive by Material Pick Up
- October 22 - Last day for Track 3 before trackout (return November 15)
- October 23 - Community Campus Clean Up
- October 26 - Tracks 2, 4 School Pictures
Virtual Academy Drive by Material Pick Up: Please plan to pick up the Quarter 2 materials on Thursday, October 21. Staff will be available to assist 7:30 - noon and 4:00 - 5:30. If you are unable to attend during these times, please come by the office AFTER the 21st during regular office hours (7:30 - 4:00).
