April 25, 2021 Principal Message

Hello Patriot Families!

It is hard to believe that April is already nearing its end.  This week we look forward to a full, five-day week of learning!   Here are this week’s updates:

Notes for All Students

8th Grade Parents: The College Foundation of North Carolina is hosting a virtual “8th Grade Kick-off to College” on April 27th @ 6pm. They will provide information regarding ways to help your student get career and college ready with CFNC. Please go HERE to register.

Rising Heritage High 9th Grade Students:  Any student/parent who needs to make changes to the "Heritage High School 9th Grade Course Requests," please complete the following Google Form found HERE - be sure you indicate you are a current 8th grade student and mark Ms. Weaver as your counselor. The deadline to make changes is May 28th.   There is no need to complete the form if you are pleased with your elective choices.

Can't remember which electives you signed up for?  Go to your Powerschools account and click on "Class Registration."  Need to see the HHS 9th grade registration sheet again?  Go HERE.

Notes for Plan A Students

Carpool: Thanks for helping us make carpool run smoother with the new changes!  We really appreciate you not unloading students in the morning before we are there to supervise.  Afternoon carpool is now complete in about 30 minutes each day.  I would still remind you that the Wake Forest Police Dept. has asked drivers to refrain from entering the carpool line prior to 2:50 to prevent a backup on Rogers Road long before school dismissal.   If there were an emergency, crews would be delayed in accessing the campus.  Finally, we’ve had several reports of carpool drivers using profanity or using gestures that we discourage in our students.  Please be kind to one another since students are always watching and listening.  Thank you!
