EOG/EOC Testing

Open House Scheduled for July 8

 

We have scheduled our Open House / Schedule Pick up event for the 2019-2020 school year for Monday, July 8 from 12-2 for Tracks 2 and 4 and from 2:30-4:30 for Tracks 1 and 3. Please visit the HMS website for a detailed schedule for the day.

 

Congrats to Justin Walker, our Engineering and Design CTE Teacher

 

The Heritage Middle Engineering & Design classroom was accepted into the GE Additive Education Program, a global STEM initiative for 3D printing in education. We were one of 1,224 schools selected from 3,487 applications across 48 countries.  This program will provide the classroom with a 3D printer, Premium Polar Cloud 3D printing accounts for students, curriculum/lesson plans, and teacher training.  We’re excited to see what our students engineer and create through this program.

 

Come out to see the HMS band on June 13 at Mudcats game

 

The Heritage Middle School Bands have been invited again to perform the Star-Spangled Banner at the Carolina Mudcats game on Thursday, June 13.  Please usethis link to purchase tickets to the game.  A percentage of the sales will be donated back to the HMS Bands for its service to the Carolina Mudcats.  You can forward this link to all your friends and family!  Let's pack the house to support the Mudcats and the HMS Bands!

 

High School early start events scheduled

 

Wake Forest and Heritage High Schools have announced their Freshman Early Start events - students will meet teachers, learn about clubs, tour the school and get their schedules. Heritage HS is on August 22nd at 7AM and Wake Forest HS is on August 8th from 1-5PM. More info is on the High Schools' websites.

 

2019-2020 Transportation information

 

Any transportation eligible student who needs to make a change or request bus service for the 2019-2020 school year should be sure to submit the form no later than June 10. Contact student services with any questions.
