It’s almost time for our 2022-2023 Single Subject AccelerationTest Requests!
What is Single Subject Acceleration?
This is an opportunity for students meeting qualifying criteria in grades K-7 to take advanced academic content in mathematics or English Language Arts. SSA ensures opportunities for appropriate levels of academic challenge by allowing them to be accelerated to the next grade level in one subject (ELA or Math). Parents must request testing and these students will be administered an assessment that will determine if they qualify. Any student currently enrolled and attending a WCPSS school during the open request and testing window are eligible. Parents may request testing during the open request window only. The dates for requesting SSA testing:
Track 4 - March 20th through March 24, 2023.
The dates that testing will take place:
Track 4 - April 18th through May 3, 2023
