STUDENT SERVICES

Transcripts

It's hard to believe that it is that time of the school year when our Seniors will be requesting to send their final transcripts to their chosen colleges and universities.

CFNC is a great option for those students who are attending schools in North Carolina.  All students can also request their final transcripts by going to:

https://wcpss.scriborder.com

This will be free for all graduating Seniors to use.  The Final Transcript option on the ScribOrder application has just been added.  It is at the bottom of the application,

in a green box.

Please remind all Seniors to complete the Senior Student Survey, as well.  It is mandated by WCPSS in order to compile statistics for the Class of 2021-2022.

AP Exams

AP Exams will be administered in school as paper and pencil exams from May 2nd - May 13th. Please visit Green Hope’s AP Testing page for important information pertaining to AP exam arrival times, testing locations, items to bring on exam day, etc. Students will receive exam specific information (e.g., testing location) via the email address entered in their Student CollegeBoard account.

Scholarship Reporting

Attention Seniors: Please complete this scholarship reporting form to report your scholarships and monetary awards you have been offered, even if you do not plan to accept the offer. A copy of each scholarship award letter needs to be uploaded to the form as well.  This year, we will include the scholarships each senior receives in an online publication (scholarship amounts will not be published). The deadline to complete this is Friday, May 13th

Senior Survey

Attention Seniors: Please complete the Senior Survey by Wednesday, May 25th.  This form allows NCDPI and WCPSS to receive accurate information on the post-secondary plans for high school seniors. Please note that instructions for requesting your final transcript are included in this form (question #10). This form must be completed by all seniors, and students must use their WCPSS account to complete it.

Communication Feedback

Student Services is asking for student and parent feedback on communication. We encourage all students and parents to fill out the following survey to help us communicate more effectively with our families. Thank you!   Survey Link

Career & College Promise (Dual Enrollment)

Career and College Promise allows eligible high school students the opportunity to take tuition-free college courses at Wake Tech while still in high school. It is often referred to as Dual Enrollment. Click here to learn more about the program.  Please review the following Google Doc for relevant information about CCP & Green Hope.

IEP/504 NOTE

For parents/students with an IEP or 504 plan: When a student with a disability transitions from high school to college, there are many changes that occur! Join the staff from ECU’s Disability Support Services to learn how DSS determines reasonable accommodations for academics, housing, and other areas of campus as needed for students with disabilities, as well are the other services provided. There will be a conversation about the transition from IDEA to ADA and tips and advice for managing a disability as a college student. DSS staff will also discuss the differences in the role of parents of students with disabilities once their student becomes a college student. This presentation will take place on May 10th, 2022 at 11:30am. Please use this form to indicate your intent to attend this virtual presentation. You will be sent a virtual meeting link prior to the presentation. Both parents and students are welcome to attend. Students do not need to have an interest in ECU to attend. This is to cover the college accommodations process that is typical for most public universities.
