Please keep in mind that our campus remains closed.  When we set up specific situations such as distributions, pick-ups or practices, we follow strict COVID protocols.  Practices do not have spectators.  Parents or other drivers dropping off/picking up students for practices must remain in vehicles at all times.

Freshman Guidance

Freshman guidance will be held during lunch on November 4th for students with last names A-Lee and on November 5th during lunch for students with last names Lew-Z. This will be an opportunity for 9th grade students to gain information on graduation requirements and tips for being a successful student. We will also have senior speakers to discuss their GHHS experience and give out advice to the freshman class. A link to join the presentations will be send to your student email and posted in the freshman google classroom.

Junior Presentation

Student Services will be releasing their Junior Presentation on Tuesday, October 27th. This will be an asynchronous event with recorded presentations and materials so students and parents can view at their own pace and refer back to the information provided. Information on how to access the presentations and materials will be posted on the Green Hope website, Student Services website and Junior Google Classroom on October 27th.

Financial Aid Advisor

Student/Counselor Appointments

Students may address topics such as academics, extracurricular opportunities, and post-secondary planning during appointments.






The fall athletics season continues to be delayed. As we receive additional information from WCPSS, we will let you know. Please keep in mind that students who miss 13.5 days of school, whether virtual, online or brick and mortar when we return, will be ineligible to participate in sports when they restart.  Please continue to monitor the Green Hope High School Athletics website for the latest updates in regard to off-season workouts, fall try-out dates, etc.

Volleyball and XC off-season workouts information can be found on the GHHS Homepage Website.

Basketball and Cheerleading are awaiting WCPSS approval to start Oct. 19th. Please continue to check the website for updates as well as following Green Hope Athletics @GHHSSports on twitter.


Book Pick-up

The GHHS Media Center is now offering contactless book pickup!

Students can request library books and will be notified to pick them up at the main entrance from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. once they’re available. Watch this video to learn how to browse the collection online and request holds, and email Ms. Yates and Ms. Dry at and for book recommendations.


Driver Education Class Information

The 2020/21 class schedule for October, November and December plus the 2020/21 Driver Education registration form will be available on Sept 14th at Students must be at least 14 1/2 years of age to be eligible to take Driver Education.


Per Jordan Driving School/WCPSS policy students are placed into classes based on age-- only the oldest 35 students who submit a registration form are placed into each class. For information purposes it is very rare for a student under the age of 15 to be placed into a class


Registration for the October, November & December classes is open.


Registration for the November class closed on October 9th  

Registration for the December class will close on November 6th.


Class invitation emails will be sent out to the oldest 35 students the week following the close of registration for each class


Behind the Wheel Instruction

We are currently driving students who took the class in December 2019 & January 2020. I am hopeful to begin driving students from the Feb/March 2020 in mid-October. Students who took the class in the summer will be scheduled once we have completed driving students from the Feb/March class.

Senior Exam Exemption Info

Seniors who have a final grade of C or better in a course that does not require a state exam will be considered exempt.  Absences will not count toward exam exemptions for the 2020-2021 school year.


Senior Transcripts

Class rank has been updated, and you may request that your transcript to be sent to your colleges.  We have mailed a current transcript to each senior.  This transcript includes updated class rank, GPA, etc. that may be used for college/scholarship application purposes.
