Hello Raven Families,

 

I want to wish you all a very happy Easter and hope you were able to enjoy lots of family time on this holiday weekend.   Please carefully read all the information below.

 

New for this week:  

• This week marks the halfway point of quarter 4.  It’s hard to believe we are 5 short weeks away from the end of the school year.  Progress reports will go home Friday of this week.
• The next PTA meeting is Monday, April 18th at 6 PM.  Please join us virtually.
• There is a boys soccer game on Tuesday at 4 PM vs. Rolesville at Rolesville.
• Wednesday is our last Track & Field meet right here at NRMS.  Come support our Ravens soar to victory at their last meet of the year.
• There is a girls softball game being played in Rolesville at 4 PM on Thursday, April 21st.
•  

 

On-going Important School Information:

 

• Parents, there is an opportunity for you to provide input on how NRMS is doing as a school.  This has been afforded to you through a panoramic survey that is open now and runs until May, 6th.  Click here to participate.
• Parents of 6th graders, if your child has not already received the required immunizations for 7th grade - Tdap & MCV - https://www.immunize.nc.gov/schools/k-12.htm, please schedule now to get them before the start of 7th grade on July 25.
• Our next track meet is Wednesday, April 13th, @ 4pm.
• Current 6th and 7th graders completed their elective registration through Math classes. If your student was absent during registration, please have them see the grade level counselor on Monday, 4/11.

• Our NRMS block party has moved from April 23rd to April 30.  Please save the date, it’s surely going to be a great time! Student performances, FREE food, and live music, and EOG information!  See our flier below for more information!

• Students will participate in a survey this spring, please click here to read more information about it.
• NRMS Media Center: Please remind your student to return all overdue books.

Hola familias de Raven,

 

quiero desearles a todos una muy feliz Pascua y espero que hayan podido disfrutar mucho tiempo en familia en este fin de semana festivo. Por favor, lea atentamente toda la información a continuación.

 

Nuevo para esta semana:  

• Esta semana marca el punto medio del cuarto trimestre. Es difícil creer que estamos a 5 semanas del final del año escolar. Los informes de progreso se enviarán a casa el viernes de esta semana.
• La próxima reunión de la PTA es el lunes 18 de abril a las 6 p. m. Únase a nosotros virtualmente.
• Hay un partido de fútbol masculino el martes a las 4 PM contra Rolesville en Rolesville.
• El miércoles es nuestra última reunión de atletismo aquí en NRMS. Ven a apoyar a nuestros Ravens para que alcancen la victoria en su último encuentro del año.
• Hay un juego de softball femenino que se jugará en Rolesville a las 4:00 p. m. el jueves 21 de abril.

Información escolar importante continua:

 

• Padres, tienen la oportunidad de brindar su opinión sobre cómo le está yendo a NRMS como escuela. Esto se lo ha proporcionado a usted a través de una encuesta panorámica que está abierta ahora y se extenderá hasta el 6 de mayo. Haga clic aquí para participar.
• Padres de alumnos de sexto grado, si su hijo aún no ha recibido las vacunas requeridas para el séptimo grado - Tdap y MCV - https://www.immunize.nc.gov/schools/k-12.htm, programe ahora para recibirlas antes el inicio de 7º grado el 25 de julio.
• Nuestra próxima reunión de atletismo es el miércoles 13 de abril a las 4:00 p. m.
• Los estudiantes actuales de sexto y séptimo grado completaron su registro electivo a través de clases de matemáticas. Si su estudiante estuvo ausente durante el registro, pídale que vea al consejero de nivel de grado el lunes 4/11.

• Nuestra fiesta de la calle NRMS se ha mudado del 23 al 30 de abril. Por favor reserve la fecha, ¡seguramente va a ser un gran momento! ¡Actuaciones de estudiantes, comida y música en vivo GRATIS e información de EOG! ¡Vea nuestro folleto a continuación para obtener más información!
