Hello Raven Families,

 

I hope this finds you all well and you had an enjoyable weekend.  Please carefully read the following information as it contains important updates.

 

New for this week:

 

• This is our last week until the end of the quarter.  Please log into Powerschool and check on your student’s grades.  Encourage your child to complete any assignments they are missing before the quarter closes.  Report cards will go home after track-out.
• Parent/Teacher conferences are coming!  Mark your calendars for Monday, September 27th.  You should be receiving sign-up information from your child’s teachers. Conferences can be in-person or virtual.
• Please help us by reminding your student to have his/her mask securely over their nose and mouth at all times.  We understand no one wants to be in a mask all day but for the health and safety of everyone here, this is a county mandate we must strictly enforce.
• If you haven’t already done so, please read this message sent home on 9/16 about the nationwide TikTok challenge and how it is affecting our school.

 

On-going Important School Information:

 

 

• Please send your child with a water bottle if possible. 

• We are seeing an increase in students coming to school with their computers not charged. Their device is a tool teachers use in their classroom and it should come to school each day charged.  Please remind them to plug it in each night.

 

 

From our AWESOME PTA:

Covid Protocols:

• Masks are required for all students (and staff) in the building when students are present.     

• Directional hallways and stairwells are STILL in place 

• Water fountains are still closed off. Please send a water bottle with your student. Their water bottles can be refilled throughout the day at our water refill stations throughout the building.  
• If your student is sick, please keep them home and email Ms. Shore (jshore@wcpss.net) for additional guidance. Students will need a doctor's note or a negative COVID test to return at this time.
• If your student becomes sick at school, you will be contacted and asked to pick your student up. You will sign your student out in the front office. Hola familias de Raven

 

: Espero que esto los encuentre bien y que hayan tenido un fin de semana agradable. Lea atentamente la siguiente información, ya que contiene actualizaciones importantes.

 

Nuevo para esta semana:

 

• esta es nuestra última semana hasta el final del trimestre. Inicie sesión en Powerschool y verifique las calificaciones de su estudiante. Anime a su hijo a completar cualquier tarea que le falte antes de que cierre el trimestre. Las boletas de calificaciones se enviarán a casa después del seguimiento.
• ¡Se acercan las conferencias de padres y maestros! Marque sus calendarios para el lunes 27 de septiembre. Debería recibir información de inscripción de los maestros de su hijo. Las conferencias pueden ser presenciales o virtuales.
• Por favor ayúdenos recordándole a su estudiante que tenga su máscara de manera segura sobre su nariz y boca en todo momento. Entendemos que nadie quiere estar enmascarado todo el día, pero por la salud y seguridad de todos aquí, este es un mandato del condado que debemos hacer cumplir estrictamente.
• Si aún no lo ha hecho, lea este mensaje enviado a casa el 16 de septiembre sobre el desafío nacional de TikTok y cómo está afectando a nuestra escuela.

 

Información importante continua sobre la escuela:

 

 

• envíe a su hijo con una botella de agua si es posible. 

• Estamos viendo un aumento de estudiantes que vienen a la escuela sin cargar sus computadoras. Su dispositivo es una herramienta que los maestros usan en su salón de clases y debe llegar a la escuela todos los días cargados. Por favor recuérdeles que lo conecten cada noche.

• Si aún no lo ha hecho, únase a la PTA para el año escolar 2021-2022. ¡Lo necesitamos para que podamos continuar haciendo cosas fabulosas para nuestros estudiantes y personal! Protocolos Covid:

• Se requieren máscaras para todos los estudiantes (y el personal) en el edificio cuando los estudiantes están presentes.     

• Los pasillos y escaleras direccionales TODAVÍA están en su lugar. 

• Las fuentes de agua aún están cerradas. Por favor envíe una botella de agua con su estudiante. Sus botellas de agua se pueden rellenar durante todo el día en nuestras estaciones de recarga de agua en todo el edificio.  
• Si su estudiante está enfermo, por favorcasa y envíe un correo electrónico a la Sra. Shore (déjelo enjshore@wcpss.netrecibir) paraorientación adicional. Los estudiantes necesitarán una nota del médico o una prueba de COVID negativa para regresar en este momento.
• Si su estudiante se enferma en la escuela, lo contactaremos y le pediremos que lo recoja. Firmará la salida de su estudiante en la oficina principal.
