The January 17 deadline for this year’s contest is just around the corner.

 

If you are turning your art project into school, the deadline is January 12.

 

Don’t forget: Cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 winners in each age category and their schools and every student who participates in the contest will receive a certificate of participation.

Additional Information

The North Carolina Museum of Art will display the winning artwork of the top artists in each age group!  This is in addition to cash prizes that will be awarded to the Top 3 winners in each age category and their schools.  And don’t forget: Every student who participates in the contest will receive a certificate of participation.

 

The January 17 DEADLINE for this year’s contest is less than ten days from now, so please share this email with the students and teachers at your school as soon as possible.

 

The artwork will be returned if:

  • The student does not place (1st, 2nd, 3rd) at the National or International level, and
  • Appropriate return packaging/mailer and postage are provided by the student or school at the time the artwork is submitted.

 

You may send your artwork via USPS, FedEx, or UPS, or drop it off between 8 AM to 5 PM at our office at the RDU International Airport but be sure to use the appropriate address listed below.

(We are located across the street from the RDU Observation Park.  Google Maps, Waze, and MapQuest can help provide directions; unfortunately, Apple Maps sometimes has trouble finding us.)

 

More than 12,000 North Carolina students from over 750 schools have participated in the contest since 2013.  We hope your students will join the fun while competing for cash prizes.
