Hello, Oak Grove Family, Versión en español aquí, النسخة باللغة العربية هنا, Toleo la Kiswahili hapa, Версия на русском зд, Versiunea in Romana
Please note that the school will be closed on Monday, May 26th, in observance of Memorial Day. Our schedule is full as we approach the end of the school year, and we sincerely appreciate your continued support and involvement.
It’s hard to believe that Track 1’s last day of school is Thursday, May 29th. We are excited to celebrate our amazing 5th graders at the 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, May 29th at 10:00 AM in the multipurpose room. We look forward to recognizing their accomplishments during their time at Oak Grove.
A heartfelt thank you to our Track 3 and 4 families for showering our teachers with appreciation this week! Your generosity and kind gestures mean so much.
We also want to extend special thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate our Speech-Language Pathologist, Ms. Goins, and our Testing Coordinator/Instructional Facilitator, Ms. Adcock. We are truly grateful for their dedication and the support they provide to both our students and staff.
If your child(ren) will attend a different school next year or leave Wake County, please answer these brief survey questions so we can plan accordingly. For questions regarding enrollment or school changes, please email our data manager, Alisa Dahlhoff, at adahlhoff@wcpss.net.
If you have a child joining us for kindergarten in July or know of families that has school age children, please make sure to go ahead and register and turn in enrollment paperwork as soon as possible! We are working hard to prepare for the start of the next school year, and having accurate enrollment information is critical. Thank you for your help in this matter!

This U.S. Department of Agriculture program provides a debit card worth $120 per eligible child that can be used to buy nutritious food during the summer months when schools are out. Most eligible students will be automatically enrolled in the program, but some will need to apply. Families can visit ncdhhs.gov/sunbucks to determine if they need to apply.
Pause on enrollments and transfers June 9 - July 1
To prepare for the transition to Infinite Campus, we will pause enrollments on June 13 and transfers on June 9. Both systems are scheduled to come online on July 1. This means that families will not be able to enroll in school or apply for a transfer within the district during this period. A Google form will be linked to our enrollment webpage, which families can fill out, indicating their need for a transfer or enrollment. The form will take place after Infinite Campus comes online.
Infinite Campus transition for the 2025-26 school year
WCPSS will launch Infinite Campus, the new Student Information System adopted by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, for the 2025-26 school year. Infinite Campus will replace PowerSchool and be used district-wide to house student data. Families will receive a message in June with instructions on how to access their Infinite Campus portals.
