Dear Oak Grove Families,

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your incredible generosity during this year's Big Splash fundraiser! 🌊Thanks to your contributions, we raised over $37,000, making the event a tremendous success. Your support has made a significant impact, allowing every student to earn all the rewards, from chalking the walk and watching Ms. Benton and Ms. Tysor in inflatable costumes to enjoying extra recess time! This is a testament to the power of our community when we come together for a common cause.

But the most exciting reward is still to come: watching Ms. Benton kiss Mia, the Pig! 🐷 Although we hoped Dixie, the Pig, could join us, she was, unfortunately, too big to fit in the car. 🚙 Nevertheless, we are excited to announce that the big moment will happen on Friday, September 6th, in the media center at the following times:

10:00 - 5th Grade
10:15 - 4th Grade
10:30 - 2nd Grade
10:45 - Kindergarten
11:00 - 3rd Grade
11:15 - ECS 1 and 2 and Pre-K

Regular daily attendance at school is crucial for every student's success. Being present each day allows students to engage fully in learning, build strong relationships with teachers and peers, and develop essential skills for academic achievement and personal growth. We know consistent attendance fosters a positive school culture and sets the foundation for lifelong habits. To celebrate the importance of being here daily, we invite all students to join us for Attendance Spirit Week from September 9-13! Let's come together to show our commitment to learning and have some fun while we do it!

Just a reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Monday, September 2, for all students in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

We are so grateful to each and every one of you for being part of such a wonderful community that consistently rallies together for our students. Your individual contributions have made a collective difference, and we couldn't be more thankful.
