Welcome Kindergarten Families!

Dear Rising Kindergarten Families,

Welcome to Oak Grove Elementary School! We are excited about welcoming our new little Otters to OGES in just a few months. To better prepare you for the upcoming transition, please join us on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, for our annual Kindergarten Orientation. Please use this link to Register for orientation. We will begin at 2:00 PM in our media center with an informational program, followed by time available to answer frequently asked questions. While the presentation is geared towards parents, our amazing Kindergarten Team will take our new Otters to visit and participate in activities in the Kindergarten classrooms. Our PTA and other school vendors will also be on hand. We look forward to supporting your families as you transition to Kindergarten at Oak Grove!

WELCOME FROM MS. MICHOT AND MS. SCHIRA, OUR SCHOOL COUNSELORS

Hello Families! We are the school counselors for Oak Grove. We are so excited to welcome our newest Otters to Oak Grove! The school counselor's role is to support all students' social-emotional growth. I provide short-term individual counseling, topic-based small groups and classroom guidance lessons, and consultations with parents & teachers. School counselors support students' transitions, especially at the beginning of the school year, ensuring they adjust well to their new school. Students will see us in the hallways welcoming our new kindergartners. We can’t wait to Meet You!
