As we celebrate another successful year at Penny Road, we are getting excited about what is to come in 2025-2026!  Below are a few things that families may be interested in as we prepare for the new year.

Save the date!  Our first through fifth grade Meet the Teacher event will be the evening of Thursday, August 21 and school starts on Monday, August 25.  Please also keep an eye on Penny Road PTA on social media this summer as they are planning several fun outings for our school community!

Supply Lists! Please click here for the 25-26 school supply lists for each grade level.  Students should bring these supplies to meet the teacher, if possible.  Penny Road provides assistance for families who are unable to secure the needed supplies.

Please note that several grade levels list items specific for girls or boys to purchase.  These are classroom items that will be used by all but that we do not need a full class set of. This prevents families from being asked to send in more of any one thing than what is needed.  

Volunteer Interest! We are excited to be in the planning stages of a new initiative called Parents and Neighbors Developing Awesome Students (PANDAS) that will bring additional volunteers into the school on a regular basis.  We are hopeful that this new model will help to expand our volunteer base to include those who may not typically be present at the school.  Click here to learn more!  At this point, we are collecting interest only, so there is no commitment.  Just fill out the interest form available at tinyurl.com/PREPANDAS!

Parent Input! Each year I provide families the opportunity to share some insights about their children that might be helpful in determining class placements.  If you have information you would like to share about your child's needs, please do so on this form prior to July 11.  Please note that any submissions with a specific teacher request will not be processed.

Summer hours!  While school is out during the summer, our front office is open from 8:30 to 2:30 on weekdays or by appointment.  Please don't hesitate to call if you need another time.
