Weekly Update 1/24/2025

January 24th, 2025

Dear Trojan Family,

We hope you had a chance to enjoy the recent snowfall and create special memories together! As we return to our daily routines, we remain committed to partnering with you to support the growth and success of our scholars. Let’s continue to stay focused on our shared goals and keep the momentum going strong. Thanks for being an essential part of our Trojan family.

Now, for our weekly updates:

Quarter 3

Due to the recent inconsistency in school days caused by weather, we had to cancel the most recent PTA meeting, the Winter Wonderland Dance, and the Awards Ceremony.  We understand the importance of these events to our school community and are actively working on rescheduling them. We will share the new dates as soon as they are confirmed.

Social Emotional Learning

The SEL Committee, with the invaluable support of Mr. Guthrie, has been working diligently to create a comprehensive list of crisis and community resources to support you and your families. We understand that challenges can arise, and having access to the right resources is crucial for navigating difficult times.

This list includes information on counseling services, crisis hotlines, community assistance programs, and more. Our goal is to ensure that all families feel supported and empowered.

You can access the resource list HERE. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Important Reminders

🚗Carpool:

During the morning and afternoon carpool, all vehicles must turn right out of the parking lot onto Jones Sausage Road. Left turns are not permitted.

Reminder: Tardy Policy
We are reinforcing the importance of punctuality. Per the Code of Student Conduct (1-3c), students are expected to arrive on time for school and class. Beginning Monday, January 27th, students with two unexcused tardies will receive a consequence, starting with lunch detention. Please ensure your child arrives at school on time each day to avoid disruptions to their learning.

Again, thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a productive and positive school environment.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the main office.

Warm regards,
Sharon Fennell
