Weekly Update - 2/12/23
Greeting East Garner Magnet Middle School Families. Monday will be an A day for electives. We had great celebrations on Friday for our Honor Roll students and appreciate the wonderful snacks the PTSA provided!
We have our last home basketball on Monday versus Martin MS. Students who are currently passing all 3rd quarter core classes and at least two of their electives with no major referrals for the last 3 weeks are eligible to purchase tickets during lunch for $6. Girls play first.
SPRING SPORTS SIGN-UP
If you are interested in trying out for a spring sports please click on the attached link to submit your interest. http://bit.ly/3xc9rhd anybody attempting to try out for a sport must submit an interest form so we can begin checking eligibility. The following are sports offered for spring sports: boys and girls track, girls softball, boys soccer. Contact Ms. Duvall or Mr. Comden with questions.
PTSA UPDATE: It's time to start thinking about getting involved with the PTSA for next school year. If you've any interest in what officers or committee chairs do throughout the year, please reach out to us via email at eastgarnerptsa@gmail.com . The more community participation we can gather, the better support we have for everyone and the more successful our school becomes!

Saludo a las familias de la escuela secundaria East Garner Magnet. El lunes será un día A de electivas. ¡Tuvimos grandes celebraciones el viernes para nuestros estudiantes del cuadro de honor y apreciamos los maravillosos refrigerios que brindó la PTSA! Tenemos nuestro último baloncesto en casa el lunes contra Martin MS. Los estudiantes que actualmente están aprobando todas las clases básicas del tercer trimestre y al menos dos de sus asignaturas optativas sin referencias importantes durante las últimas 3 semanas son elegibles para comprar boletos durante el almuerzo por $6. Las niñas juegan primero.
