Action Needed By Sept. 21: Complete Survey Regarding Returning to School Campuses. Families, please complete this survey to provide feedback regarding students returning to school campuses for in-person instruction. This survey should only take 3 to 5 minutes to complete. As always, we thank you for your time. We will continue with our Asynchronous Wednesday for core classes. On Wednesday students will have assignments posted in each of their core classes but they will not have live sessions with teachers, except for electives. Core teachers will offer office hours during the day to support students, clarify, reteach and remediate. Teachers will share the office hours schedule with kids and give them instructions. We will have homeroom as normal.
We are in the mist of Hispanic Heritage Month. Be on the lookout for an opportunity to join the student planning committee.
September is EGMMS PTSA Membership Month and now is a great time to join! We are celebrating our members all month long with drawings for give-aways each Friday! Your PTSA Board Members are planning for a great school year filled with activities and events to engage our community and promote inclusion, celebration, and collaboration during these times that are unlike anything we've ever seen! But, we need your help to achieve all of our goals! If we all pitch in to do a little, we can accomplish a whole lot! Students in all grade levels can receive a free breakfast and lunch from an operating location until December 31*. Please visit https://www.wcpss.net/food for a list of operating sites. Students are not required to visit their assigned school and do not have to be present to receive meals. The curbside meal service will operate Monday through Friday from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost! No student ID number required to receive meals. (*Or until funding is depleted.
Please know that it is a violation of school policy to join a Google Meet session of class or school, in which a student is not enrolled and may result in an out of school suspension, which translates into a temporary loss of WakeID privileges.

Reminder: Apply Online for Meal BenefitsWCPSS Child Nutrition Services wants to remind you that if you have not yet applied for school meal benefits, you may complete an application online at www.wcpss.net/meals.Students eligible for reduced-price meals will receive their breakfast and lunch at no cost for the 2020-2021 school year.
