Good evening Middle Creek High School families, 

 

We had a wonderful week at The Creek! Thank you so much to all the families who provided snacks, money, gift cards, sweet emails and notes, or other gestures to support Teacher Appreciation Week. The teachers truly enjoyed each and every one and we are grateful to have such a supportive community. 

 

Next week is a busy one with many fun activities and celebrations. This Saturday our Band Program is hosting a Car Show fundraiser, so come and check it out! Our 3nd Quarter A Honor Roll Breakfast is Monday, and we are hosting our first MCHS Special Olympics on Thursday, with two Spring Chorus Concert showing that afternoon and evening. Our Digital Media and Engineering Academy students are also celebrating their Academy Graduation next week, and several our sports teams continue to move forward in the State Playoffs. It really is an exciting and busy time!

Last PTSA Meeting of the Year- May 17th 

The MCHS PTSA is hosting their final VIRTUAL  meeting of the year. It is open to all members and they will be sharing updates on all the work this year, and voting on new officers for next school year.  Please join us!

Seniors:

Senior Final Mustang Moments - We will be hosting a “Cookies and Cokes in the Commons” for all Seniors at the last Mustang Moments for the Year.  This will be a special time to socialize and celebrate together.  If you are able to support this event by donating gift cards or soda - please sign up here!  THANK YOU!

Baccalaureate Service-Tuesday, June 6th @ 7:00pm at Hope Community Church Apex campus.  Address is 2080 E. Williams St Apex 27539.  

Students planning to attend Baccalaureate can claim their tickets by completing this form.  Please put the student name, as what is in this form is what will be printed on the program.

Seniors: Please report scholarships to Student Services!

Senior and senior families, we want to recognize seniors who have been awarded scholarships this year and include them on our Senior Scholarship Listing.  Please take a picture of the scholarship letters that you have received and email to Mrs. Mercado in Student Services at dmercado@wcpss.net.  Last year’s seniors received over $8 million in scholarships and we know the Class of 2023 will represent just as well!  Make sure to check our Scholarship listing page as we have posted several new available scholarships over the past few weeks.

 

Athletics:

Meet the Coach Night!

Middle Creek’s "Meet the Coach Night" will be on on May 17th in the gym.  Each of our sports teams will be represented and this is a great time to bring any rising 9th grade students out to meet the sport specific coach.  This will be free floating from 6:00-7:30 pm.  The Stampede Club and Athletic Director will also be onsite!
