Principal's Weekly Message
Good evening Middle Creek High School families,
It was a great, full, week with lots of performances, presentations, student events and athletic contests! Hopefully your student is feeling good about their progress this quarter, as we are quickly approaching both the holiday break and end of the quarter. Next week isa 3-day week, and then it is roughly 3 weeks in January before exams begin. A more detailed exam schedule will come out next week, but our Fall Final Exam window will run Jan. 20th-Jan. 26th.
Below are just a few updates and reminders.
Information & Reminders:
Early Release Friday
Wednesday, December 21st is an early release day. Students will be dismissed 2 hours early so that teachers may participate in staff development. Students will still attend all 4 classes on Wednesday, on modified schedule. Dismissal for the early release will be at 12:18. Students will be provided a bag lunch as they leave for the day, so it may be helpful to send snacks for them throughout the day. Breakfast will still be provided as normal. A period-by-period bell schedule can be referenced below:
Seniors:
Senior Slideshow
This year we will be creating a senior slideshow with pictures submitted by Seniors and their families. We are asking all seniors to complete the form linked below sharing 3 pictures (per senior) that represent them and their time in school or at MCHS or growing up. These pictures must be school appropriate, as the slide show will be created and shared with seniors as part of a celebration activity towards the end of the year. If you have questions, please contact lmegronigle@wcpss.net. The last date to complete the form will be January 13th. This information will also be sent to all seniors via their wcpss email address.
