Principal's Weekly Message

Good afternoon Middle Creek High School families,

I hope everyone has had a great week, and is headed into a nice, long weekend. Reminder that tomorrow  we are off for Veteran’s Day. On behalf of our school I would like to extend a huge thank you to all the servicemen and women in our community for your dedication and service!

Below are some updates and reminders that I hope will be helpful in keeping you informed.

Information & Reminders:

Fall Fundraiser- Starting NOW!

The MCHS PTSA is excited to kick off the first Strong Stable Giving campaign! This giving campaign starts TODAY and runs for just ONE WEEK, to Friday, Nov. 18. The Strong Stable Giving campaign will support MCHS PTSA teacher and club grant requests and PTSA activities that enrich the Middle Creek student and academic experience.

Please donate now! We will also accept cash or check dropped off to Mrs. Healy at the Middle Creek office front desk. Make checks payable to MCHS PTSA.

Anyone can support this campaign; you do not have to be a MCHS PTSA member to donate. We need YOU (and your family, friends and businesses) to support this campaign so that the MCHS PTSA can support our Middle Creek community.

Thank you for helping us make our Stable strong!

PreACT for all 10th graders:

The PreACT will be administered to all 10th graders on Wednesday, November 16. Testing will take place on the third floor and will begin promptly at 7:25. Students will receive additional information through their homeroom teachers. Students need to bring two #2 pencils and a calculator on test day. See this link for a list of approved calculators. If your child does not have a calculator, they should make arrangements to borrow one from a math teacher in advance of November 16. Additional information about the PreACT can be found here. Any questions regarding the PreACT can be directed to Anna Carpenter, Testing Coordinator, at ascarpenter@wcpss.net.
