Happy Friday! It was another great week at The Creek. We have a full week next week, and it is also Homecoming Week! Remind your students about the dress up days detailed below and we hope they enjoy the pep rally on Friday, 23rd!

Spirit week will be September 19th-23rd. Below are the themes for each day and we hope your students will participate!
Monday- “Gooood Morning” Day, wear PJs to school and bring a teddy 'Baer'!
Tuesday- Construction Day
Wednesday- Bikers vs. Surfers
Thursday- Throwback Thursday: 80s!!
Friday- Mustang “Out”, Seniors wear black, Juniors wear red, Freshmen & Sophomores wear white.
Support our MCHS Band– Volunteers Needed
MCHS Band is in need of student and adult volunteers for our 7th Annual Mustang Classic marching band competition on Sat 10/1/2022. We'll be hosting 17 bands from around NC and VA. This is a perfect opportunity for students to earn any required service/volunteer hours they may need, and to get into the show to see a few bands for free! Thanks for your help

We are now taking orders for yearbooks! Please go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and enter the code 10474. After entering the code, you will find links for purchasing yearbooks and Senior Ads. Please note these ads are for seniors only.
Yearbook orders will be open until February 1, 2023. Senior ads may be purchased until December 1, 2022. Get yours while supplies last!
Community Event via Apex Public School Foundation:
The APSF is excited to announce that we will be hosting another Health & Wellness webinar on Tuesday, September 27th at 7:00 pm. They are partnering with WakeMed to bring relevant and helpful information to parents and caregivers. Please see below for details:

Laura Politte, MD, a psychiatrist with WakeMed Mental Health & Well-Being helps parents navigate those difficult conversations with children of all ages. Join us for this FREE webinar for parents and caregivers. Affiliation with Apex-area schools is not required, webinar is open to all. Spanish translation will be provided.

We are excited to share the date for our Class of 2023 Graduation!
Middle Creek Graduation will be at the Convention Center on Sunday, June 11th at 2:00pm. More information about rehearsal and the details will be shared at the Senior Meeting on Sept. 22nd, and in future emails. Mark your calendars!
Senior Family Information Meeting and Financial Aid Night
Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to join us on September 22 at 6:00 pm for an informative meeting about all things Senior year! We will have information on cap and gown ordering, photo opportunities, graduation updates, college application info, and a presentation from our Financial Aid Advisor, Ms. Tori Sharpe. We look forward to seeing you there!
