Information from Student Services:
Senior Awards Night
Senior Awards Night will be May 26 at 6:30 pm in the MCHS Gymnasium. We will recognize students who have earned honors designation for their academic achievements by presenting them with their sash to be worn at graduation. We will also be announcing our Mustang Awards winners and there will be several scholarship presentations. Students who are receiving a recognition have received an invitation in the mail to them and their families to invite them to this night. The dress code is dress casual and there is no limit of family members who can attend. If you received an invitation, your student is being recognized and we hope to see you there! Please reach out to Student Services with any questions. *If your student has received an ROTC/military scholarship and their branch would like to present that in person, please reach out to Mrs. Gillespie at tgillespie2@wcpss.net.
Financial Aid Advisor Support Available through May to Seniors and their families!
Our Financial Aid Advisor, Mrs. Tori Sharpe, is available to assist seniors and their families on the FAFSA and Financial Aid through May 2022. Please email her at vsharpe@wcpss.net in order to ask any financial aid questions you may have or set up a time to meet. Don't forget, if students want to take advantage of the FREE tuition at Wake Tech for the Class of 2022 they MUST have a FAFSA submitted!
Senior Scholarship Recognition
We want to recognize the hard work of all of our seniors and the scholarship offers they have received! Please email a picture/pdf of the scholarship letter or award to Mrs. Mercado at dmercado@wcpss.net or have students stop by Student Services and we will make a copy of their letters. Even if a student received a scholarship offer to a school they are not attending we can include that in our scholarship total and recognition, so make sure to send in scholarship info today. The MCHS Scholarship Website is a place that students can look for available scholarships, new ones are added frequently! Currently, we are over $7 million dollars and we know there are lots more academic, athletic, arts, and admissions scholarships out there to recognize!
