Principal's Weekly Message
Good evening Middle Creek High School families,
I hope everyone is enjoying some of the beautiful weather this weekend. Below is some information for this week, the first week of May. Please be reminded that tomorrow is a Teacher Workday, so there will be no school for students.
Information & Reminders:
Parent Feedback Needed: One week left!
It is time to collect some feedback from our parent community.
Wake County Public Schools is administering a District Wide Family Survey (Panorama) from now through Friday, May 6. This survey provides families the opportunity to provide valuable information and a high-quality data source for planning and School Improvement.
The survey has been translated into various languages; Spanish, Arabic, French, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese in an effort to provide accessibility to families in Wake County Public Schools. The survey administration language can be chosen by families before taking the survey.
Update on GRADUATION TICKETS - All seniors will receive 10 tickets for graduation. There are no extra tickets. Tickets will be distributed at graduation practice.
Thank you to all the senior parents who attended the parent meeting in April - we had a great turnout. The link is below for anyone who was not able to attend the meeting. If you have any questions regarding graduation or senior activities and need Spanish translation - please contact Ms. Bozman at firstname.lastname@example.org. All other senior questions can be directed to Ms. Megronigle at email@example.com and graduation questions can be directed to Ms. Spodnick at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Information from Student Services:
Important Information about AP testing
AP Testing will begin for all students on May 2. Please carefully read the AP Information shared at this link prior to testing so that you and your student are prepared to have the best possible AP testing experience. Students who are taking morning tests must arrive no later than 7:15. Students who are taking afternoon tests must arrive no later than 11:15. All students should bring wooden #2 pencils, pens with black/blue ink, snack/water, and their calculator (if needed). Students must remain in the testing room for the entire test and will need to make arrangements for transportation home after the afternoon exams as those will not end until 3:00-3:30. Students are expected to be in their other classes on days they are testing and must follow normal attendance procedures if they are going to miss classes outside of testing time.
Financial Aid Advisor Support Available through May to Seniors and their families!
Our Financial Aid Advisor, Mrs. Tori Sharpe, is available to assist seniors and their families on the FAFSA and Financial Aid through May 2022. Please email her at email@example.com in order to ask any financial aid questions you may have or set up a time to meet. Don't forget, if students want to take advantage of the FREE tuition at Wake Tech for the Class of 2022 they MUST have a FAFSA submitted!
Senior Scholarship Recognition
We want to recognize the hard work of all of our seniors and the scholarship offers they have received! Please email a picture/pdf of the scholarship letter or award to Mrs. Mercado at firstname.lastname@example.org or have students stop by Student Services and we will make a copy of their letters. Even if a student received a scholarship offer to a school they are not attending we can include that in our scholarship total and recognition, so make sure to send in scholarship info today. The MCHS Scholarship Website is a place that students can look for available scholarships, new ones are added frequently! Currently, we are over $2 million dollars and we know there are lots more academic, athletic, arts, and admissions scholarships out there to recognize!
