Scholarship Information for Seniors

 
 
Last year, the Class of 2017 was awarded over $9 million dollars in scholarship money (our highest total ever) and we want to continue that trend for the Class of 2018!
 
Upcoming Scholarship Opportunities:
North Carolina A&T Cheatham-White Scholarship:  This is a new merit-based, full-ride scholarship that also include summer enrichment opportunities.  They are seeking competitive students with strong character, leadership, commitment to service and extracurriculars, as well as a minimum of a 4.0 weighted GPA and ACT of 28 or SAT of 1280.  Middle Creek can nominate candidates by November 1.
Davidson College John Belk Scholarship:  This is a merit-based, full-ride scholarship for students with demonstrated intellectual and personal achievement as well as significant leadership ability.  Middle Creek can nominate 1-2 students by December 1.
UNC Charlotte Levine Scholarship:  This is a merit-based, full-ride scholarship for students committed to community service with strong intellectual curiosity and ethical leadership.  Middle Creek can nominate candidate through October 8.
NC State University's Park Scholarship:  This is a merit-based, full-ride scholarship for exceptional students in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  Students can self-nominate for this scholarship and Middle Creek can endorse 2 school nominees.  To be a school endorsed nominee, students must complete the MCHS Scholarship application found on the MCHS Website by September 20.   
UNC's Morehead-Cain Scholarship:  This is a merit-based, full-ride scholarship for exceptional students in the area of leadership, moral force of character, scholarship, and physical vigor.  Students can self-nominate for this scholarship and Middle Creek can endorse 5 school nominees.  To be a school endorsed nominee, students must complete the MCHS Scholarship application found on the MCHS Website by September 20.
