Parking Information for the 2021/22 School Year

2021-2022 Broughton High School Parking Announcement 1 – April 9, 2021

Please Note - Due to limited on-campus parking space for students, only rising seniors will be eligible to register for assigned parking for the upcoming school year. Rising Broughton High School Seniors will have the opportunity to reserve one of the 150 parking spaces that will be made available for assigned student on-campus parking in the up-coming 2021 -2022 school year. The cost for parking on-campus next school year has not yet been determined by the school board, but the administration estimates that the cost will be similar to that of past years, which was $200. There is also a nominal surcharge for using the On-line School Payment (OSP) system which is approximately $7. There is no requirement for the completion of community service hours to be eligible due to the challenges presented by the COVID19 pandemic. An OSP portal will be established and its address will be published on the school’s website, through the PTSA bulletin, and via the principal’s weekly message, so that rising seniors will be able to utilize it to claim a space. This process can’t begin until WCPSS announces the official cost for parking and the start of the new fiscal year, but our goal is to activate the portal as close to July 1, 2021 as possible. Spaces will be available to rising seniors on a first come-first served basis and once a space is assigned to a student, it can’t be transferred to any other student without the prior approval of the administration. If you have any questions regarding parking in the 2021-2022 school year please contact Mr. Ludwick (919-856-7810 EXT 23262). Lastly, please stay safe and enjoy your upcoming summer.
