2017 Spelling Bee Winner

Rohan Sachdev won the 2017 Page of Wake County Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 18th, and will be representing Carnage Middle School in the Scripps National Spelling Bee held in Washington D.C. in May. This is Rohan's second time going to the Nationals. Last year, his brother, Rahul Sachdev went to Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Rohan won the 2017 Page of Wake County Spelling Bee this past Saturday, March 18th, that was held at Athens High school. There were 93 spellers who competed in a written spelling and vocabulary test. Out of those 93 spellers, 25 moved on to the championship rounds, and Rohan emerged as a winner! We are very proud of Rohan's hard work, dedication, and commitment towards this endeavor.

Rohan is very excited to represent Carnage GT/AIG Basics Magnet Middle School in the 2017 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C., May 28th - June 2nd.
