Read About the Positivity Project at Smith!
The Positivity Project "Empowers Our Youth To Build Strong Relationships".
- Each day includes a 15-minute Positivity Project lesson. #PositivityInAction
- Through these lessons, our students learn that relationships and friendships are important to our happiness and well being.
- The Positivity Project empowers our students to build positive relationships by recognizing the character strengths in themselves and others.
- Dedicating time each day to teach our students about their character strengths will increase their confidence and motivate them to succeed.
- By helping our students develop a "Other People Mindset" they will look for the good in other people, know that their words and actions affect everybody they interact with, celebrate others when they succeed, and support others when they struggle. This is a great way to foster positive peer and adult relationships.
