First Tee - Sponsorship & Donations

Drive4Success was a HIT!
It was an exciting day on Friday, April 20th at Wil-Mar Golf Club. The First Tee of the Triangle held our inaugural Drive4Success Champions Challenge with our Wake County Public School System Elementary Support Model schools. It was a big hit!
The Drive4Success program is a multi-tiered program model developed last fall to support at-risk students in school, after school, and during their summer or track-out times. These programs expand upon The First Tee National School Program with lessons and activities from The First Tee Life Skills Experience curriculum. Students are selected to participate in these programs by their physical education teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators and are often those who are identified as being most able to benefit from increased mentorship opportunities.
The Champions Challenge brought six students from each of the participating schools to the golf course to participate in a fun morning of golf activities and friendly competition. Each station included a question about one of the Nine Core Values and a physical challenge.

We are thrilled to work in collaboration with the Wake County Public School System to deliver the Drive4Success program at their Elementary Support Model schools! Friday would not have been possible without a few key partners. Thank you to PwC employees for volunteering! Lunch was generously donated by Chick-fil-a at Townridge Square, and fruit was generously donated by Harris Teeter.
Congrats to all of our kids and schools for doing an incredible job with their knowledge and demonstration of our Nine Core Values and to Smith Elementary for taking home the championship!
