Our largest PTA fundraiser will take place on Thursday, October 20th. There are two parts to this celebration.
We will begin this event with a Pep Rally for all students tomorrow, Friday, October 7th
The packets for the fundraising will be sent home with students on Tuesday, October 11th and they are due back at the school by Friday, October 28th.
During the school day on Thursday, October 20th, the children will run on the track and wear their class color (your child's teacher will give you this information). You are welcome to come and watch the Fun Run during your child's assigned time. The times are as follows:
That evening, at 5:00 PM we will meet at the old Library site on Academy Street (across the street from the fountain area). We will walk from there to the school starting at 5:15 PM with a police escort and we should get back to the school around 5:30-5:45.
Once we return to the school, any student that collected and turned in $150.00 by Noon that day will have the opportunity to pie Ms. Sherry or Mr. Norton on the basketball court. The other students can watch this event (the kids very much enjoy this).
After this is done, there will be games for the children to play and we will have a hot dog platter for sale for a cost of $5.00 (this is for 2 turkey hot dogs, chips and a brownie). All of this will be located on the courtyard near the Library.
The book fair will also be open, this is a good time for you to attend the book fair with your child. This is our main fundraiser for receiving funds to help order new books for the Library.
