PTA Updates

Fall Fundraiser: Hunter's no-fuss, two-week Fall Fundraiser starts today! The funds we raise in the coming weeks are crucial at Hunter because they support every student and all staff throughout the year, from sending teachers to conferences to adding books to the Media Center.

The best news about our Fall Fundraiser? We don’t ask you to sell anything. Once we hit our $25,000 goal, we’re done! No more emails or robocalls! (But we encourage you to listen to the robocalls … We have a few surprise guests!)

You can make your donation online by clicking on the "Paypal Link" or scanning the "MemberHub Donation" QR code. If you prefer to drop cash or a check by school, please put it in an envelope labeled “Fall Fundraiser,” buzz the front door, and office staff will direct you accordingly. (  Thank you for your participation!

Teacher Appreciation: Let's show our Hunter teachers how much we love and appreciate them by painting or decorating Kindness/Appreciation rocks. Students and their families can find a rock and decorate it with a message of encouragement for the Hunter team.  Families can drop their rocks off at the front of the school in the marked crate this week!  On Thursday, October 8, interested families can meet to place the rocks along the teachers path into the school at 4:30 pm. Special thanks to kindergarten parent Jeannine Beson for the wonderful idea.

Yearbook Committee:  The Yearbook Committee is still planning on making a memory book this year and would like your "Back to School" photos!  Any first day pictures, virtual learning pictures, etc, would be greatly appreciated for consideration.  Please email them to  Questions or comments:  email Christine Weingarten at

ONE Hunter: Save the date for October 20th from 6:30-7:30PM. ONE Hunter will be happening virtually! As such, grab some Two Roosters ice cream that evening, before or after our One Hunter discussion, and 20% of the proceeds will support Hunter teachers!

Constellations: We have over 156 families involved in a Hunter constellation group this year! If you would like to connect more closely with families in your geographic area, it’s not too late. Sign up for a constellation here

Join the PTA: It is not too late to join the PTA! Join us here (
